Kabelo Vincent Ndlovu, known by his stage name Uncle Vinny, has risen to fame as a South African entertainer and presenter, captivating the public with his boundless creativity and infectious energy.


Uncle Vinny was born on 21 April 2002.


Uncle Vinny, originally hailing from KwaZulu-Natal, spent his formative years in Hillbrow, an area known for its high crime rates. Despite the challenging environment, he discovered a deep passion for entertainment that would shape his future.


Uncle Vinny attended the National School of Arts for his high school education, where his enthusiasm for TV presenting, acting, and performance first took root. He completed his matriculation in the year 2020.


Uncle Vinny’s musical journey reportedly began during his 9th grade, at the young age of 13. Reflecting on those early years, he expressed his ambition to become the youngest to achieve success in the industry.

As time passed, Uncle Vinny’s talent did not fade away. On the contrary, he continued to gain prominence in both social and musical spheres, proving the age-old adage that consistency and dedication yield fruitful results.

Despite his youth, Uncle Vinny has collaborated with notable figures in the industry, such as Nasty C, Frank Casino, Cassper Nyovest, and Riky Rick, whom he affectionately refers to as his father.

Hillbrow FM

When Vinny was just 15 years old and still in grade 9, he became a radio presenter at Hillbrow FM. This early opportunity allowed him to showcase his talent and passion for broadcasting.

MTV Base

In 2021, Uncle Vinny embarked on a new venture by joining MTV Base’s Culture Squad as a VJ. Alongside Shamiso Mosaka, the daughter of Azania Mosaka, Vinny took on this exciting role, further expanding his presence in the entertainment industry.

Braamfontein Party

During April 2021, Uncle Vinny organized a birthday celebration at the Neighbourgoods Market in Braamfontein. However, the event took an unexpected turn as his enthusiastic fans flooded the streets, eagerly awaiting entry into the venue.

What was initially intended as a regular party transformed into a vibrant block party atmosphere. Uncle Vinny’s 19th birthday became a memorable occasion as the streets of Braamfontein overflowed with excitement and celebration.
