Phindile Gwala-Ngandu is a South African actress and media personality who rose to fame with her acting debut on Muvhango in 2012.

After five successful years on the show, she resigned to focus on building her brand. Since then, she has also appeared in several other television productions.

Age

Phindile was born in Eshowe in KwaZulu-Natal in 1986. (Age 37 as of 2023).

Acting Career

Phindile Gwala-Ngandu has an impressive acting resume that includes appearances in various productions such as Imbewu, Uzalo, Muvhango, and Zaziwa.

However, she is perhaps best known for her portrayal of the dynamic character Nonny Nkosi on SABC2’s “Muvhango”.

In 2018, she landed a role in “Looking for Love” and followed it up with a role in “Blessers” the following year.

In 2020, she was cast in the popular drama series “Imbewu-The Seed”, playing the character of Fikile.

Personal Life

Phindile suffered a devastating loss when her husband passed away in a tragic road accident, leaving her to raise their daughter on her own.

However, she eventually found love again when she met Armando Ngandu, a Congolese model, in the parking lot of a nightclub in Rosebank, Johannesburg.

Despite initial communication through text messages and dating for a few months, their relationship flourished and they fell in love.

After two years of dating and sharing their beautiful moments on social media, Phindile Gwala-Ngandu and Armando Ngandu tied the knot in a private traditional ceremony on Christmas day.

Although the wedding was not publicized, pictures of the event were shared on social media, showcasing their love and affection for each other.

Business

Phindile Gwala-Ngandu and her husband, Armando Ngandu, share a passion for entrepreneurship and have established several successful businesses together.

They own a car wash and a Shisa Nyama restaurant in Wynberg, Johannesburg, and have recently ventured into the entertainment industry with their own production company, Ngandu Productions.

The studio specializes in producing films, advertisements, and other media-related content, highlighting their dynamic skills and entrepreneurial spirit.
