Nathaniel Ramabulana was born and raised in Parkhurst, Gauteng, South Africa. While he has chosen not to disclose specific details about his family, he has mentioned that his parents worked as domestic workers during his upbringing. Ramabulana attended Greenside High School for his secondary education and later pursued a Dramatic Arts Honours degree at the University of the Witwatersrand. His proficiency extends to multiple languages, including Venda, English, Zulu, Tswana, and Afrikaans.

Ramabulana is a highly skilled actor, writer, and an emerging producer and director. His passion for acting began at a young age, and he achieved his breakthrough in 2006 when he played the role of Sergeant Hulk in the movie “The Trail.” He has since appeared in various television series, including Muvhango, Isidingo, Home Affairs, Nomzamo, Jozi-H, Justice for All, and Life is Wild.

In 2010, Ramabulana portrayed the character of Elphas in the SABC2 drama series “The Mating Game.” He also starred as Sam in the Mzansi Magic musical comedy-drama miniseries “Remix,” which served as a sequel to the 2012 television movie “Tooth and Nails.”

Ramabulana has also ventured into film, with notable appearances in movies such as “The Crossing,” “The Trail” (2006), “Blood Diamond” (2006), “Surprise,” and “The Bang Bang Club” (2009).

While acting remains his primary focus, he aspires to write, direct, and produce more projects in the future.
