Natasha Joubert is a South African model who achieved the prestigious honour of being crowned Miss South Africa 2023. Notably, she had previously secured the position of second runner-up in the Miss South Africa 2020 competition and later represented South Africa at the Miss Universe 2020 pageant.
Early Years and Background
Born in Pretoria and raised in Centurion, Gauteng, Natasha Joubert exhibited her unique qualities from a young age.
She was the sole female participant in her karate class during her early years. Notably, she showcased her talents on South Africa’s Got Talent at the age of 11 and maintained a passion for singing from seven to 18 years old.
Natasha Joubert was born on 24 July 1997.
The youngest among her three siblings, Natasha Joubert shares a close-knit bond with her older brother, Reinier, and her sister, Daniellé. Both siblings have embarked on careers as attorneys, notaries, and conveyancers.
Her mother, Ninette, holds a significant role in Natasha’s life and is also a business collaborator in their venture, Natalia Jeffery. An extraordinary fact is that Ninette pursued her law degree at the age of 50, and during Natasha’s crowning as Miss South Africa 2023, her mother was in the process of completing her articles to become a lawyer. Unfortunately, Natasha lost her father during her teenage years.
Education and Early Career
Natasha Joubert attended Hoërskool Eldoraigne and later pursued her studies at Boston City Campus and Business College. In 2020, she graduated with a Bachelor of Commerce degree in marketing management.
Natasha Joubert was able to finance her studies through the bursaries she won in modelling competitions.
Prior to participating in Miss South Africa 2020, she worked as a public relations officer for a law firm.
At the time she was crowned Miss SA 2023, Natasha was a fashion designer and owner of Natalia Jeffery, a fashion company she started at the age of 19.
Career as a Model
Natasha Joubert’s modelling journey has been eventful and noteworthy. Her participation in various pageants includes victories in Miss Globe South Africa 2016 and Miss Rivonia 2018. On the global stage, she achieved the Top 5 in the Miss Globe 2016 competition. Additionally, she secured the second runner-up position in Miss South Africa 2020. Notably, Natasha represented South Africa in the Miss Universe 2020 competition. She did not place in the top 21.

Natasha Joubert was crowned Miss South Africa 2023.
This was Joubert’s second time participating in the competition; she was a runner-up in 2020 and represented the country at Miss Universe in 2021.
