Musa Keys was born in Giyani and raised in Flora Park, Polokwane. Introduced to the keyboard by a friend at Light of the Nation Church, he honed his skills as a music composer and producer. Initially aspiring to become an architect or engineer, Keys eventually dropped out of Damelin, where he was studying Sound Engineering, to pursue his music career.
