Meshack Magabane was born on 8 April 1977 in Johannesburg, South Africa. He grew up in Mandagsoek Limpopo, where he developed a passion for acting at a young age. He attended the University of the Witwatersrand, where he studied drama and graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree.
