MacG Early Life and Career
MacG was born Macgyver Mukwevho on 6 November 1988 in Limpopo, South Africa. He developed a passion for music and entertainment at a young age. He attended Hyde Park High School and participated in drama and music activities.

The email claimed to be from Dudu, his producer and invited people to be guests on the podcast for a fee of up to $3000 (an estimated R57 000). It is a traditional London Dry style gin with strong juniper notes, subtle lemon, cucumber and a hint of liquorice. It has an alcohol content of 43% and comes in a sleek black bottle with gold lettering1.
Grandeur Gin was initially only available online at Takealot. MacG recently struck a major deal with Makro and Pick N Pay, leading retailers in South Africa, to distribute and sell his product nationwide.
MacG Personal Life
MacG’s partner is Naledi Monamodi, a YouTuber, public relations freelancer, and co-owner of Grandeur Gin. She has a channel called Toast with Naledi, where she vlogs about beauty, travel, reality TV, and personal life. She and MacG have been dating for several years and share a son named Ziggy and a daughter named Zara.
MacG proposed to Naledi during the Road to 1 Million Celebration in July 2023, where he celebrated reaching one million subscribers on YouTube. He got down on one knee and asked her to marry him in front of thousands of Chillers, his fans. He also thanked her for sticking by him when he had nothing and letting him crash at her small apartment during his hustling days.
