Lorraine Moropa was born in Daveyton, East Rand, South Africa. While not much information is available about her primary and secondary education, she attended the City Varsity School of Media and Creative Arts from 2014 to 2016. During her time there, she graduated with a certificate in Acting for Camera, Live Performance, Voice, Movement, and Presenting.

Lorraine made her first notable TV appearance in season 1 of the SABC2 drama series “Guilt” as Dimpho Mokgopa. This marked her first credited screen role. Her exceptional talent and acting skills later landed her a part in “Lithapo” as Pabi, where she gained fame. Additionally, she portrayed the character Olerato in the fifth season of the popular TV series “The Queen,” earning her widespread acclaim.
