This is the biography of Linda Nxumalo, a rising South African actor and director best known for his role as Soka in the popular e.tv soapie House of Zwide. He was born on 10 June, 1997 in KwaSanti, Marianhill, KwaZulu-Natal. He has a passion for the arts and a dream to be like his role models, such as Vusi Kunene, Winnie Ntshaba, Jeffrey Sekele and Matlatshi Mafatshe.
Linda Nxumalo Education and Career
Linda Nxumalo studied drama and production at the Durban University of Technology and graduated in 2018. He then moved to Johannesburg to pursue his acting career and worked as a waiter before landing his first role on Isithembiso, a Mzansi Magic telenovela. He also appeared in a cameo role on The Queen, another Mzansi Magic production.

Linda’s breakthrough role came in 2021 when he was cast as Sokalezwe “Soka” Mthembu, a charming and ambitious accounting graduate. He then got a job as Isaac Molapo’s assistant at his garage. His character was once the boyfriend of Ona, the daughter of the fashion mogul Funani Zwide. Linda’s performance has earned him praise and recognition from the viewers and the media.

In 2023, Linda Nxumalo features in the smash hit series Shaka Ilembe. He played the role of Dlabehlezi, one of Senzangakhona’s (Senzo Radebe) friends.
