Khosi Twala is a South African journalist, broadcaster, beauty influencer, fitness enthusiast, and reality TV star known for winning Big Brother Titans. Twala is one of the most popular female fitness aficionados in South Africa, having competed in several beauty pageants.

She was born on August 10, 1997, in Newcastle, KwaZulu-Natal, South Africa.

Early Life and Education

Khosi Twala was born to South African parents and was raised in KwaZulu-Natal. Her parents gave her the birth name Makhosazene. Khosi hails from the Zulu tribe and has three siblings. She earned the nickname “Yo-highness K” during her teenage years. She aspired to build a career in the media industry since she was a young girl. Khosi was an active member of the Press Club, Literary & Debate Society, and Drama Society during high school.

Twala underwent her elementary and middle education at top public schools in KwaZulu-Natal. She is an alumnus of Lincoln’s Height Secondary School, where she underwent her high school education. After that, she gained admission into the University Of The Free State (UFS) in 2016, where she bagged a degree in Journalism. Afterwards, she studied at Oakfields College and bagged a Master’s degree from the University Of Johannesburg in December 2021.

Career

After bagging her degree in Journalism, Khosi interned at media houses in Bloemfontein to gain work experience. She then moved to Johannesburg, where she gained employment as a journalist with a media house in the city. Khosi gradually rose to the top of the ladder in her career and decided to upgrade her skillset by gaining a second degree. She applied for a Master’s degree program at the University of Johannesburg and was accepted, completing the program in 2021.

In 2023, Khosi Twala was selected to be a Housemate in the ongoing Big Brother Africa (Titans), where she emerged as the winner on April 2, 2023. She walks home with a total amount of R1 million for winning the competition.

Beauty Pageants

Khosi Twala has competed in several beauty pageants, including Miss Free State SA in 2017, Biogen Face Of Fitness in 2020, and Miss Regal International South Africa in 2021.

Boyfriend

Khosi Twala is not married but has been rumoured to be in a relationship with Yemi Cregx and Miracle OP. However, she has not confirmed any of these rumours.
