Education and Early Life

Cedric Fourie hails from the vibrant neighbourhood of Orlando Gardens in Soweto, South Africa. Raised by a single mother, he often shares glimpses of his close-knit family through his Instagram account, including his mother, aunts, and grandmother.

His educational journey led him through several institutions, including Lenasia, Greyville Primary School, Princess Primary School, Princess High School, and Athlone Boys High School. Notably, Cedric’s academic pursuits took an unexpected turn when he earned a bursary to study at the University of the Witwatersrand, where he pursued a degree in engineering.

In early 2015, he captivated audiences with his performance as JB in the Mzansi Magic Daily Sun telemovie titled “My 4-5 Just Sleeps.” Here, he portrayed a smooth operator entangled in a peculiar predicament involving a curse and stolen underwear.

December 2015 marked another milestone in his career as he starred in the M-Net Original Film “The Ring,” showcasing his comedic prowess in a hotel setting alongside an ensemble cast.

Cedric’s versatility extended to other television series, with guest appearances in isiBaya and Sokhulu & Partners.

However, it was in September 2016 that he secured his breakthrough role, portraying Lehasa in the fifth season of the SABC1 youth soapie Skeem Saam. His debut on the show on December 8, 2016, marked a significant moment in his acting career.

Beyond acting, Cedric Fourie has diversified his professional portfolio, embracing roles as an engineer, motivational speaker, and brand ambassador.
