Carlo Radebe Early Life

Born on August 30, 1972, in Soweto, Johannesburg, South Africa, Radebe’s early years were marked by ambition and talent. He attended Sacred Heart College in Johannesburg, where he honed his craft. Raised in a Catholic household, Radebe still identifies as Catholic.

After completing his schooling, Radebe pursued a formal education in drama. He enrollled at the Pretoria Technikon in 1992 and obtained his national diploma in 1995.

Radebe started acting in 1980, featuring in the TV show Senzekile as a young supporting actor. Since then, he has delivered versatile performances across television, movies, and theater productions. Here are some of the work from the talented artist:

Despite his illustrious career spanning over four decades, in 2024, Carlo Radebe faced immense challenges. He got homeless and struggling to secure acting gigs.

Evicted from his previous dwelling, he sought refuge in the secluded confines of a smallholding on the outskirts of Johannesburg. His sole financial support came from a meager monthly government grant of R350.
