Early Life and Education

Bohang Moeko was born in Johannesburg, South Africa. He pursued his education and graduated from high school before enrolling at the University of Free State, where he studied Quantity Surveying. With dedication and hard work, he earned an Honors degree in the field.

Notably, his father’s career in the construction industry may have influenced his academic pursuits.

While working as a Quantity Surveyor in Durban, Bohang Moeko’s passion for acting led him to attend the OCA Acting Studio, where he received formal training to hone his skills as an actor. Although his decision to leave his white-collar job initially raised concerns from his parents, they became supportive after witnessing his dedication and realizing his deep love for the craft.

Career

Bohang Moeko’s acting career took off with his first credited television role as Victor Ndou in the Mzansi Magic soap opera “Zabalaza” in February 2015. This breakthrough paved the way for numerous other opportunities in the South African television industry.

Throughout his career, Bohang has appeared in various soapies and telenovelas, showcasing his versatility and talent. He portrayed the character Trevor on “The Queen” and Thabang on “Housekeepers,” both of which aired on Mzansi Magic. Additionally, he played Tshepo on Etv’s “Scandal!” and Lefa Matabane on the popular SABC 3 soap opera “Isidingo.”

Bohang Moeko’s talent also gained recognition on an international scale. He took on the role of Dr. Musoke in the American mini-series “The Hot Zone.” Furthermore, he starred as Lunga in the Netflix Original feature film “Seriously Single” and portrayed Gabriel Ndlovu in “Isono,” which marked BET Africa’s first locally co-produced daily drama and the first African daily drama to reach an international audience.

Aside from his acting pursuits, Bohang Moeko has also made a name for himself in the world of modeling. In 2013, he reached the finals of the Mr South Africa competition, showcasing his charisma and striking presence.
