Angela Thando Sithole was born on July 4, 1993, in Soweto’s White City, a township in Gauteng Province. She is the daughter of a Zulu mother and an Italian father, who left the family when Angela was six years old. She was raised by her single mother, who instilled in her a strong sense of self-worth and resilience.
Angela attended Athlone Girls High School, where she developed an interest in drama and arts.

The actress started her acting career in 2015 when she landed her first major role as Terry Ramotsetsi on the Mzansi Magic soap opera Zabalaza. Terry was a PR guru who was looking for love in all the wrong places. Angela impressed the viewers and critics with her complex and charismatic character portrayal.
In 2016, Angela got her second major role as Tai Chi or Angel on the eKasi Plus drama series Hustle. She played a young and ambitious singer who was part of a girl group that was trying to make it big in the music industry. Angela showcased her singing and dancing skills, as well as her ability to handle emotional scenes.

In 2019, Angela made her film debut in the romantic comedy All About Love, where she played Jennifer, a friend of the main couple. She shared the screen with Katlego Danke and Chris Attoh, two of the most prominent actors in Africa.
In 2020, Angela replaced Buhle Samuels as Zandile Majola on the e.tv soapie Imbewu: The Seed. Zandile was a gold digger who targeted Nkululeko Bhengu, a wealthy businessman. Angela brought a new twist to the character and added more drama to the show.
